Browning BLR lightweight takedown..

Post by Member-Deleted » 13 Jul 2015, 1:21 pm

Hey guys, so i currently own a Browning A Bolt composute stalker in .223 and love it.. and now I need to upgrade and get a big 30 cal!

First I was looking at the tikka t3 range.. then at the browning x bolt.. but lately I've had a big hankering for a lever action! So I just wanted to know if anyone owns a BLR (thinking .30-06) how it goes.. this is other catch. I want open sights on it... however I have only ever shot with telescopic sights

Given the configuration it should make for a great brush gun.. so please let me.know if anyone hunts with a similar setup, and any recommendations for open sight options (ghost rings, lyman sights etc) as I am completely new to this.
