It's time I get myself a rimfire rifle :D

I know we've got a few CZ fans in here, what's the word on the CZ 455 Special?

I'm thinking 17MHR will be the ticket.

What do we think?

I've got a .308 CZ and it's great.

I'm trying to convince the lady into getting a rim fire rifle "of her own" *wink wink*.

455 Special is on the list in 22WMR for me.

I think reddog is the resident CZ fan.

Has his CZ452 22lr with recoil pad, pillar and glass bedding - all just for fun

Yep you wont go wrong with a CZ , Im not real sure on the 455 with the switch barrel or the 17
I dont know much about them . What i will say is it depends on what you want to use it for if
you are going to be putting a lot of rounds through it look at the cost of your ammo . I was
going to get a 22 WMR but I can get a brick of 22lr for nearly the same cost as a box of 50 WMR
rounds . Whatever you go for you wont be dissapointed with a CZ

How much is a box of 17HMR these days?

I know the round is 9 or 10 years old now which I suppose isn't that old in calibre terms.

Would have thought it's pretty widely adopted now though and wouldn't be that expensive?

I just paid $32 for a tiny box of 50 v-max 17grn.

They shot good over 100yards.

I am looking at getting a .17, I used a mates one yesterday. I did like it but as Reddog said I also can reload my .222 for just a little less than they cost.

As an after thought I could of bought the Federal 17 grn. for $25 a box
