@Sendit Its a mint little rifle, light, quiet, good action on it, glad I was wearing my hat coz empty brass was going everywhere, was grouping well (3" or so off the shoulder, standing not rest or anything) so I was happy with that, used 3 boxes of highland subsonic, a box of CCI subsonic and a few winchester high velocity rounds. 10 shot tube mag, all round it became my fav very quickly.

And I should mention the Marlin 30-30 is going and being replaced by a mint condish Bruno I think its a model 1

Just four in mine, a 222 on a Zastava barred action with Boyd's walnut stock, a Mod70 featherweight in 243W, a Montana Rifle Co ASR in 270W, and a CZ 550 full wood in 9.3x62. If it's wrapped in fur I can hunt it.
If it's not wood and blued steel, it's not one of mine

I need a new camera. I need it for work, anyway. You guys have seen my best stuff but I should get a pic of all of it. None of it is particularly fine works of art, though.

I thought I was doing so well, in recently reducing my collection of shotguns down to 12 ( or maybe 13 ? Lol )

.... couldn't go past a nice little 20 gauge for my GF earlier this week.

It's hers, of course ...

Update, 30-30's are gone, have no need for them. Replaced with the Fausti, excellent gun, was shooting it on the weekend at some clays. Annnd now maybe a coach gun, SXS, possible a Boito, but may consider a different make.

Just a comment on the Boito's, it's a bit rough to say they're all no good.

They do a dozen different options, the top if triple the price of the lower ones.

Some of them feel nasty I agree, like the Double Defence, but have a look at each on on it's own merits.

The right ones get a decent rating from owners.

You guys can just buy guns at will, right? Like if you wanted to buy 20 rifles this week (now that you have your specific rifle category license) you can buy them without permission, and if you are a member of a pistol club and have a pistol license to can buy 20 pistols this week without asking permission for each one. Is that correct?

We can't "just buy" one in the sense of walking into a shop on a whim and hand over the money and walk out. We need a permit for each firearm to be approved before it's picked up.

It's mostly a pointless rubber-stamping exercise though as there is no reason you would normally be knocked back for buying anything on your license category.

Just the pointless bulls**t of our firearms registries pushing paperwork around so the powers can tell voters they're managing things.

Cheers for the links everyone, I did like the Greener-very nice, the Sauer too for that matter, the research continues!
