I had one in 30-30. They are a great simple rifle, they cop some flack for being a bit agricultural however mine was reliable. They can be difficult to scope as the side mounts only accept certain scopes with the turrets positioned just so. Luckily yours already has one.
I was able to purchase new magazines and extractor from the US with. B709, I think from numerich.

That's some shot on the first rabbit. Almost a perfect split lengthways.

White tail? It's been done, but it's a little light (and not legal in some states). Where do you live? Do you have smaller white tail?

They have smaller deer in Texas and they shoot them with .223. Here in the East we have normal sized White Tail and most people won't use .223 even where it is allowed.

I understand, me either. Doesn't every Aussie carry a muzzle loader to a hunt with a two ball limit in their range bag, and have to submit to a home invader within 10 seconds of being informed of said home invasion or otherwise face a criminal charge for failure to submit? :D

Bit of thread archeology mate? Haha looks awesome, was a really nice rifle to shoot, love the classic older stuff

Would you need to fit the bolt to the new locking lugs?
