Air rifles and Foxes

A mate shot a fox in the head recently with a 22 cal PCP - it dropped dead on the spot - can't remember the range he shot it at but from memory it was over 50m. I personally wouldn't bother shooting em with a air rifle, much rather a CF to sort em out with.

25 cal air rifle will work real nice but the gun is most likely more then a standard 22

I did it once on a fox cub with a high powered springer. Wouldnt do it again. Head shot still wasnt enough
