I have the regular 22LR lever action from Henry which I bought from HPGS as a package for $695. Great little rifle and perfect for my left handed son to use when he gets a bit older. I've put maybe 150 rounds through it and whilst not in the same league as an Anschutz for accuracy it will take out the bunnies no problem. Need to add that of the 4 lever actions I own, it is the smoothest of the lot.

Not that you could expect it to be for a grand less either.
I friend has one, I have a Marlin 29A, I got to shoot hers a bit a the range one time, very, very, very smooth action, good trigger as I remember. The sights are good buckhorn style, we didn't put the guns on paper, animal crackers were our targets of choice and all fell to the guns, so they're accurate enough for that.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."
Henry's are great. They are made in Communist New Jersey, but I give them a pass on that in this case.
I have fired at least one of them (.22) and it was more beautiful and smooth than any lever action I have laid my hands on.
That is a lot of money for a lever .22, though. This is not the type of rifle you put a scope on and use for bunnies at 150 meters. If that's what you want, get a bolt for half the price and probably way more accurate (I never tested it for groups).
I can tell you this. It will impress everybody at the range, everybody will want to try it, and a great gun for kids to shoot. You'll put them in orbit!
