Go to the next Militaria and arms show https://www.facebook.com/pages/Melbourn ... 4961109920
The next ones 9-10/04/2016
There's normally some brass available.
Dies are a bit harder to find but not impossible to get.
A few LGS's have PPU 7.62x54R for about $35. I've found PPU brass pretty good to reload.
I'm with you, I don’t ONLY buy a gun because it's "accurate" or "reliable” or it “looks good” , I buy em for ALL those reasons... or not :D
There's always room for at least one more gun in my safe.
There's always room for one more safe in my house.

anthillinside, thanks! Militaria and arms show seems to be the best bet at this stage :)

Are components really that hard to find for it? That surprises me somewhat...

I haven't tried, so I don't know

Just preempting for late January. Should be fine, but I would like to find some old surplus.

G'day mate,
Brass can be had from Firearmsales.com.au, Qld, for $95/100, or Centreway in East Keilor usually have it in stock. Any 308 projectile will work OK, but .3105 Hornady 303 projies are currently available and work very well. Centreway also have loaded ammo, either Highland/PPU or Sellior & Bellot. Best of luck,
