I've owned one and they are great shooters straight outta the box, nice crisp trigger and adjustable in all the right places.

Yes, the M95 is heavy but if you bend the knees when lifting it's not so bad and you don't want to be carrying it along with 2 full mags very far :D

That colt is quite a nifty looking package....

But the bazzas are heavy... I raised an 82 to my shoulder once.... went straight back down :problem:

Didn't they put the 1500bhp gas turbine into the Abrams tank JUST to transport the sniper with his Barrett to the field?

Ruger Precision Rifle.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

Well because both the savage and ruger were so far away. I bought a Howa mini varmint 223. They are quite a nice little rifle

Yep, nice little rifle and good value for money. I picked one up a few weeks back from Horsley's for $880 including bag, rings and Nikko Panamax scope though I've since replaced the scope with a Bushnell AR 4.5-18x40. Grouped very well with factory OSA 55gr Blitzking and I'm about to pickup some 55gr Zombie Max projectiles to work on some loads. I'm sure you'll enjoy Howa :)

That is a standard European response.....it means 'never'

May = 'Mai' in french = 'Never' in Italian... :D

It appears that the savage is all that is left in my price range

I can't remember the prices but it sounds like the Remington XCR or SPS tactical might fit what you're looking for.

Shouldn't be crazy expensive.
