Are Savage magazines top loading?

Post by ailar » 01 Nov 2013, 8:21 pm

Hi guys,

I've searched but can't find this elsewhere so need to ask.

I'm looking at a new Savage, probably a 110.

Can you guys tell me, are the magazines for this top loading through the action? Or gotta remove the magazine, load, then put it back into the rifle?

Cheers.

For a 4 shot magazine sure...

10 shot magazine works a treat though.
