Welcoming .416 Rigby to the family

Post by Norton » 03 Nov 2013, 10:43 am

I've been pondering over getting a big bore lever action or bolt rifle for a while now...

A good op came up through a mate to buy a near new CZ and I finally caved.

Welcome to the family....

Everyone needs a big brother :D

I've shot a 375 Ruger but not a .416.

I love the blast from the big bore stuff :D

I love the idea of something like a .416... But I'm soft...

Too much gun for me.

A nice addition.

Won't be anything that will stand up to that.

It's all just about what you get used to.

The first time you fire it, it would seem like a canon.

After you've been shooting it for a while though you wouldn't find it's such a big deal.

It's not like it's the kind of rifle you go to the range with and put 200 rounds down in 1 sitting with either ;)
