Hi Lorgar have a 1416 with the varmint barrel with the 64 action and a 1712 Silhouette with the 54 action both great shooters but yep as normal the brass flies up hits the scope and lands back in the action on say every third shot

Funny about the brass, I never had the problem with mine. Tried a dozen or more different ammo in it too so have had slightly different cases though it

Back to the Bavarian... I see they do one in 7mm-08 now

If you like the 1416 you'd love the 1712 best .22 on the market outta of a box hands down L
