The rifle with recessed bolt rear showing cocked or not?

Post by samf » 10 Nov 2013, 10:10 am

Hi guys,

I'm trying to work out what a rifle is from a bit of a vague description so we'll see how we go, but anyway...

It's a sporter/hunting rifle, not bench. Black. The bolt is like a corkscrew on the outside and there is a recess at the back of the bolt where you can see the bolt is back or forward to show it's cocked or not.

Best guess anyone?

99% sure you're talking about a Mossberg here.

Could be any of them though really...

A trip to the Mossberg website might help you recognise the exact one

Bit of a crappy picture but here is the other end of a Mossberg 4x4 bolt.
