Browning T-Bolt straight pull - Love it!

I had a look at this the other day and have to go back for another look :D

I was looking for a rimfire and went through all the usual options before getting to the Browning T-Bolt.

I knew what straight pull was but hadn't used it personally. Using it on the T-Bolt though, I love it.

So much better than bolt action, I don't know why there aren't tonnes more straight pull available.

They had a target at 100m from one of their guys there too from a T-Bolt in 17HMR and the group was 1 ragged hole.

Next pay check, time to get myself one :D

Straight pull is a lot of fun.

Easy to do on a little rimfire, but harder to make work/safe on a powerful centrefire cartridge. That's why there aren't so many of them.
See you on the firing line.

The heavy barrel T-Bolt is a sweet little rifle.

Great accuracy and to call it "heavy" is really a joke.

Still lighter than any sporter centrefire by a mile.

Yep, lighter than any featherweight centrefire by a mile.

I guess the sporter barrel still does the job if that's all you need, don't know why you wouldn't just get the heavy barrel though really for the increased accuracy as the extra weight is barely noticeable.

So much better for staying on target while cycling the bolt too as you don't twist the rifle in the process.
