i have a winchester model 88 and was wondering how it would compair and you guys seem to like lever action guns does any one have one

Only just starting to trickle out in America, very unlikely any have actually made it to Australia yet. They do look nice though. I'm a big fan of Henry Rifles

There is a 7 page discussion on MarlinOwners.com under the Non-Marlin Rifles heading. You will find a review on Gunblast.com. Apparently the trigger does not come away with the lever, unlike the BLR, which it outwardly resembles.
