a T3 Hunter Stainless
.308
Set trigger
Good quality timber stock
Ceracoted
Internals Microslicked
At the moment "Unfired"

This is as it was when purchased except for the stock which I rubbed back and refinished.
Originally it was so dark that the grain wasn't shown to best effect. (same as the chequering)

Thanks to Gwion for the expert job making the sling.

I've got a brand new Ziess Duralyt waiting to sit on top of it.
Then it's gonna get used.

That's a nice looking rifle.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

You got lucky with that stick!

Thanks for the complimentary replies fellas,
Yep it's a pity the factory didn't churn them out like that.

I enjoy doing stocks up like that.

Especially the old ones like the SMLE and the likes, cos quite often they have nice grain, and I can sporterize them as well.

Very nice Ed, I like tiger patterns in stocks - my mate will try and find a nice stock for mine (not that it particularly worries me to be honest) I just hope it shoots fine, that's the most important part for me with any rifle.

Enjoy it mate and let me know what factory and or handload that works for you.

Thinking the same.

Did that just fall in your lap or did you open a few boxes in store to cherry pick one?

No Mate, I wouldn't be so lucky to just hope for a good one.
It was hand picked out of 15 others from Beretta.
Just a shame that the factory finish didn't show the grain to its full extent.

I just like doing stocks, and getting the best effect possible.

An update on this rifle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have now mounted the Zeiss scope, and it's ready to prey on a few deer at Xmas time.

A BIG thank you to Simon the (original Rsole owner) for NOT sending the rings and bases that were part of the deal as advertised on "Used Guns", and refusing to answer your phone.
I paid you your top $$$ asking price without haggling, and you resorted to what amounted to petty theft.

KARMA is a bitch aint it ?

That stinks

The guy i bought off was great, he even tossed in a couple of 243 dies free of charge.
In future I will ask that they take it to their transferring dealer.
Once they have confirmed that the rifle is as described then transfer the full amount.

Nice rifle & scope... Let us know how it shoots.

I will add, that I have bought and sold quite a few times via "Used Guns",,, and they are very good people as is their site.
This is the only time I've come across a private seller that was an RSOLE in the highest order.
He is a manager for a company that deals Australia wide.

Makes me wonder if he is pathetic as well as desperate.
