Keep all your S&B cases, you're going to need them. The brass they use does not reload very often, I've had some only take 3 loads. Your most cost effective option is PPU ammo, then reload the brass, Cheers.

That's interesting.
I'm using S&B and Hornady in 8x57mm and I have noticed the S&B does seem to stretch more than the Hornady, although not enough to need resizing so far.

A model 1930 Mosin nagant made in 1927....... that's different
And $300 over market value for a crappy paint job that used about $15 worth of spray paint.

May have been sniffing a bit of that paint methinks

Yeah, I don't think I'll need a scope on it :-)
Ammo is easy to get?
From where?
I eventually found some but it was far from "easy".
What velocity does that load give you?
Do you have a .308 or .311 bore?
Mine slugs at .3110"
