Hello guys and gals,
I just joined the group and thought I would introduce myself, I moved to the UK when I was ten grew up there til 21 when I then moved back to Oz,while I was there I lived on a farm so was pretty fortunate to have a .22 when 14 (dads licence) and got a .243 when I was 17 shot a lot of rabbits ,foxes and deer until at 21 moved back to oz and drifted away from the sport. I am now 50 ( time does fly) and have an 11 year old who started to show interest in shooting ,we are fortunate enough to know a couple of land owners here in WA so I got a .22 and a .243 again ,my boy and I now go on weekends away camping and shooting together, he is becoming a decent shot with both guns but the .243 is just a bit heavy for him(Sako 85 Varmint) so I have just got him a .223 Tikka hunter - picking it up in a couple of weeks - he of course is jumping from foot to foot , just sorry I left the sport for so long ,now enjoying reading the posts here and catching up on the advances I have missed out on.Hoping to learn a bit and maybe have a little input - thanks for having me -- Daryl
