It's a Ruger.

It'll hit a deer and it will never break.

And if you run out of ammo you can whack them with it :lol:

Joking nature aside Chickenhawk's appraisal is pretty spot on.

I've personally owned a few different Rugers, and shot a bunch of others.

They're not what you'd call light, but they're solid and feel good in your hands. Feels reliable.

And they are, that controlled feed Mauser action is pretty bullet proof.

I've used them in half a dozen centrefire calibres including 300 Win Mag and results have all been about the same;

.75 - 1.25 MOA with the right loads. Feeds every time, shoots every time, ejects every time. Not a bad recipe for a hunting rifle.
