More chance of getting on my farm with 243 ( the farm caliber) than with a ridiculous 300 win mag Or two dogs and a knife.
The 300 or any other massive caliber means your stupid enough to believe the bs about deflection (I killed my first pig with a 22lr) and pros use 223, two dogs and a knife show your not responsible enough to own a gun.

My comment was related to MY farm and MY experience it wasn't meant to say that a farm in the center of oz with camels running wild wouldn't let you on, the biggest animal on MY farm anybody's going to shoot at is a pig. And if you need a 300 for pigs I don't believe you can shoot straight enough to shoot on MY land where MY family lives.

But even then, YOUR farm, why should anyone limit themselves to the game on one farm?

I think you can own whatever gun you want but the land owner should have the right to restrict what guns you use on his property. Fair enough to not allow a big gun but if they are getting pedantic then you might know going there is not a good fit.

You can always bring the smaller gun instead or decline that property to shoot on.

223 v 243 v 270 for pigs?
223 is not enough
243 is ok with the right bullets
270 is far ahead of the others
