Here's an idea - trade it for a Marlin 1894 .44 mag; they have a 10 shot mag. Or forego four rounds and get a Marlin 336 30/30 for a bit more reach (mainly in the form of a flatter/easier trajectory). Both easily scoped.
IMO whilst the BLR sounds really cool on paper, it kind of fills a void that doesn't really exist; either go a traditional lever gun (with a nice long magazine), or stick to a bolt (if a higher degree of accuracy is relevant to your hunting needs).
Or just KISS and get a compact bolt gun with a a 10-shot mag! Ever witnessed a SMLE mad-minute!? Like seriously the whole "lever guns are faster" is a bit of an exaggeration IMO; sure the lever is quick, but so is the bolt (with a bit of practice).
