Seems like they don't exist. I asked the same question just recently. There are reports of one-off custom jobs spread around the web but that's all.

I wish.!! But I don't know why. I would have thought they would be a great candidate for an aftermarket 10 shot.

Probably issues with clearance for the lever.

From what I have read there is enough clearance.

With all due respect - it's going to be a very rare hunting scenario that demands more than 4 follow up shots... you imagining groups of pigs that you'd mow down?

Well, I was thinking goat destruction. I have had to reload low capacity magazines a few times.

Even if he doesn't need more than 4 shots on average, he should still have the option in case the scenario does arise when he does need more. That and he probably wouldn't have to reload as often.

Got to give it to the levers for quick follow up shots

I have the MLR and have run it dry a fair bit. I got good at dropping single rounds in it as I ran( when I was younger). A recent trip to the NT had me wishing I had a couple more in the mag on several occasions with mobs that kept emerging from the bush. But more importantly on the old model MLR/blr I would like to be able to get any msg aftermarket.

Why not just have a couple stock mags loaded and ready to roll.

I looked at some BLR's and at full forward extension the lever seems to go past the mag.

That seems to be your only option. The magazines are expensive. If your going to have to stick your hand in your wallet for a solution it'd be nice to have a choice.

Here's an idea - trade it for a Marlin 1894 .44 mag; they have a 10 shot mag. Or forego four rounds and get a Marlin 336 30/30 for a bit more reach (mainly in the form of a flatter/easier trajectory). Both easily scoped.

IMO whilst the BLR sounds really cool on paper, it kind of fills a void that doesn't really exist; either go a traditional lever gun (with a nice long magazine), or stick to a bolt (if a higher degree of accuracy is relevant to your hunting needs).

Or just KISS and get a compact bolt gun with a a 10-shot mag! Ever witnessed a SMLE mad-minute!? Like seriously the whole "lever guns are faster" is a bit of an exaggeration IMO; sure the lever is quick, but so is the bolt (with a bit of practice).

That's a 336 in 30-30 in the pic I posted above. The idea I like about the BLR is the removable magazine as it's simpler to be reassured that there isn't a round in the tube. That's it. Nothing else.

The visible (de-cocked) hammer is more than enough safety assurance for me. Btw great shooting- the 336 gets it done doesn't it  I love my 30/30. I also equally appreciate my bolt gun :drinks:

On the strength of that, I looked up the C%$#@!&r website and they do them in 308 too. But a word of caution if I may. Just be sure of functional reliability. I have heard (nothing about this brand) that not all these ideas work 100%, so look up some "road tests" maybe like. Is it Ozzie Reviews?

Otherwise, it sounds like a great idea :)

If they work like they are supposed to, there will be a huge market for those in the states. Smart business.

I just operate with a spare mag. Not quite as practical in terms of speed I guess, however I find that mostly I do not use it, making the rifle easier to handle with a small mag. Spare mag is on the belt if I need it. Mostly, 5 rounds will suffice, but when you need extras then another 4 is handy. No option for me to get the larger mag anyway. Nobody makes mags for my BLR, not even Browning.

... and I'm sorry, but they don't exactly look ergonomic:

Looks awesome.
Adds a bit of aggression which is missing in all lever action designs...for me. I'll get one for my 308.
