Sorry SHV what bullet is that? what's TBF150? aren't they Berry's?
At what point does lack of maintenance become patina?

Some of the LEs have trouble stabilizing certain bullets, especially the original two groove barrels. Shooters put it down to its lesser ability to grip the bullet. That’s why the boat tail bullets might not work as well as a flat base (of approx the same weight) - as the BTs have less bearing surface to work with combined with only the two grooves. The shorter bearing surface on those lighter Berrys bullets might therefore be suffering the same fate (they are 123gr right?).

Also another characteristic of the LEs is some don’t like a big jump to the lands - maybe the shorter Berrys bullet does not work well in this regard. Lots of anecdotes but my No4 certainly likes a long bullet seated out as far as possible.
