So there I was idly and completely innocently surfing through the current offerings on used guns and there it was - one of my bucket list rifles that I need in my life!
I wasn't really looking for another addition but I mean, what's a bloke to do? If you procrastinate you miss out...again!
This is a Uberti version in .44-40 and in excellent condition.
I guess I'll try some new fangled smokeless ammo at some point but mostly it'll eat smokeful shells.
Hangin out to make smoke with it tomorrow!

There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

Gorgeous, that's gonna be a blast to shoot, I'd even clean it up a little bit if I had the time.

How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

Very nice noisy. I wonder how comfortable it will be to shoot with some sustained fire, holding on to the barrel sans forend wood.
