I have the atlasworx and it is good but I think the mag release lever is a bit over the top and obtrusive. I have seen mods to improve them but haven't had the chance or confidence to attempt the mod so just work with it as is.

They really are all much of a muchness.

The plastic legacy ones are perfectly fine.

Steel ones include PTG, CDI, Atlasworks

They all work well, just depends what sort of features you like. As Gwion said, some have really large mag release levers. It's a blessing or a curse depending on your preference.

Just trim the release levers down, simple and easy fix.

Not that simple if it has a nice surface treatment. You could just buy the one that suits your purpose.

What's the nice surface treatment you speak of?

Anodized, parkerized,blued etc

Yes it could be redone but it's unlikely to match. Might not bother some people, would bother me. Or you could redo the whole thing, then it's costing money.

cheers mate, yeah a little silver wouldn't worry me in the least, I suppose you could just give it a coat of black paint or a marker pen to cover the aluminum.

There are some OK looking steel ones on used guns Wyatt.
