No way, cops will take it. Try painting in rainbow colours. Won't look evil then.

On a side, what calibre?

Did you end up putting the locking nut the right way for the muzzle break?

Very nice, I like it allot.....would be nice if they did one for the Lithgows, I ordered one of the MDT ESS Chassis for my 308 Lithy, would have gone with the Aus Tec if available to keep with the Aussie theme.

I'm sporting quite a chubby due to that picture and at my age that's happening less and less. It's sort of lingerie for guns...:)

MDT was the only contender, because I am not a fan of shrouds. Then I went to the Shot Expo and spotted these guys, played with an earlier prototype at the show and bought the new one there and then. That was actually the deciding factor for me. Preference to AU and this one feels better. Also, it looks scary enough to give Brett a chub, so that's extra points right there. And to top it all off, I had some questions and it was easier to show, so Ben from Aus Tac drove across town, just to come over and take a look and explain stuff. Really, that just an awesome experience. Also showed some photos of things to come :silent: Really hope they dominate here! I just need to make some time to load and shoot now!

juststarting do you handload for it? what does it like to eat? i'm picking up my 308 CTR today - need to find the best powder for it. I'm starting with 2206H. mine's for metallic silhouette so i'll shoot highest-in-class BC projectiles at the rams (which i think is the Hornady ELD at this point), trying to find the best powder for the 178gr BT (for this purpose).
At what point does lack of maintenance become patina?
