Lithgow LA 102 MDT Chassis

Post by Pythonkeeper » 05 Jan 2018, 6:38 pm

Finally got around to installing my Lithgow 308 in the new chassis today. I really like the look of it and how it feels, can't comment on how it feels under use as I haven't got that far yet, don't think I'll be disappointed though.
Next on the list for it is an optics upgrade and then a bipod upgrade.
Didn't buy this for any particular reason other than I liked the look of it and thought it would make nice sit/lay and wait, longer range hunting rig, should go alright off the shooting rest on the front of my quad also, not much into target shooting but I dare say I'll do a bit of that to fine tune it for when the shot really counts.

Anyway here's a few iPhone snaps, should have taken a few shots from the other side too but didn't, might ad them at a later date.

Never been into chassis (nothing wrong with them I'm just a bit of a traditionalist) but I really like the look of this!! it's not too overstated and the black "points" actually make it a great looking bit of kit!! :drinks: :drinks:

Looks like the ESS.
My fave MDT chassis style. Especially the skeleton butt stock.

Yes it's an MDT Chassis, thought the title might have given ya's a slight hint..... :D...not to mention the big MDT logo stamped into the side of it... ;)

MDT ESS to be precise, 15" fore end, no rail....

How are you finding this 6 months on? I'm thinking of going down a similar path

Can I ask where you get these things from? Do I have to get a gunstore to order one in?
