16" barrels  I think my 24" lever rifles are stunted! Hard to visualize a 16" one when your used to 30" and more! My .50-70 rolling block has a 36" barrel.

Ok, f*** it, I've been simmering on it for a bit... Remington 7615 with pistol grip, adjustable stock and low power optic. I decided I want one.

Why? Because it looks fun.

For a hunting rifle, I really like the idea of the CZ-527 Carbine (in 223). The triggers on those things are amazeballs, and I do love the way a carbine points (and obviously carries).

Wish (-ful thinking) List,
.402" cal Enfield Martini Mk 1, B Pattern. Still 15 in the world, I have even held one, plus the 8 shot magazine for the A Pattern. The one I held sold for only $15000 a few years ago, so if I sold a couple of bikes, and one ever came on the market again, maybe.

Here’s my Warwick JS. I kinda gave up on it for a while and even started looking around at the OAF in early December, then got the phone call that they made it to me on the list.

The bigger part of the strong room is not that hard or expensive to build actually. I made a multipurpose farm shed that has stables and the full outer wall is 4inch concrete upto 1.2m. I did it in a few sections that held a concrete trucks worth of cement each time 5m3. I rented the form work that is like mechano it all clicks together with some mesh in the middle of the 4 inch and a vibrator oh and a cement truck pumper it was only about $600 for the 5m3 back then and it goes a long way. Anyway for the big project on the scale of things it worked out pretty good. if just doing a 4m*4m I would just make up the form work myself perhaps. The door would be the biggest challenge or cost I would think. A nice project to dream about, or maybe go the whole hog and make into a doomsday bunker man cave, all the same thing.

A-10 is 30mm GAU-8. ( a whole lot of BRRRRRT )
F/A-18 is 20mm M61A1

I can personally recommend the M134 from Dillon Aero (formally GAU-2) as a bunch of fun! And can be aimed and fired without an aircraft attached ;-)

On my list is a milsurp Swede Mauser and an FN FAL.

One of the issues I find with buying more firearms is that by the time you get spare magazines, accessories, optics, holsters, reloading dies, etc. etc. to run said firearm or use it in competition, the cost of that stuff will be as much as the original purchase of the firearm, if not more than.

Eventually though I would like a whole rack of WW1 and WW2 milsurps.

Old thread I was reading, seems my wish list has changed since I last posted on here.
Definitely like a lever in a pistol cartridge.
May just come to fruition too, submitted a PTA today. :-)

The 686 was possibly the most common revolver in IPSC when I was doing it, must be heaps of them around still.
I prefer the original model 19 or 27 myself.

I stopped with the Ruger Americans in
204, .223, .243, and 7mm-08. I would still like a few others, but nothing urgently.

Got the RPR .22LR, and love it.
Didn't get the Puma Trappers, but did get the 24" Rossi 92 in .357 Magnum (thanks to a member here!), to go with the Marlin 94 in .44Mag.

.45-70 Sharps is still on the list, and if an RN50 popped I'd still be interested.

I got two M1904 Portuguese Mausers, the M1903-A3, Kar98k, and 6.5mm Type 38 Arisaka. Came very close to the P17 and K31, but decided against both. But I found some others along the way I hadn't realised I wanted, including the M94/14 Swede (again thanks to a member here), M94 Winchester .30-30, and the M39 Finn Mosin.

I have a decent collection across a variety of chamberings and styles so I'm unlikely to ever get bored. But I'd still like to find a .22LR Martini Cadet.

bladeracer wrote:I don't know that I have a bucket list, but there are more rifles that I want.
Ruger Americans in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmore, 300BLK, .308, 7.62x39mm, 450 Bushmaster and .300WinMag - plus whatever other chamberings they bring out.
Ruger Precision Rimfire.
Rossi Puma Trappers in .357 and .44 Magnums.
.45/70 Sharps
RN50

And more milsurps!
M1904 Portuguese Mauser in 6.5mm
M1903A1
Kar88
Kar98k
6.5mm and 7.7mm Arisakas.
M1903 Mannlicher Schonauer 6.5mm
K31
P17
M95 in 8x56mm
Krag-Jorgenson
MAS36
Lebel rifle
And probably others I can't recall just now.
