Can't argue with that, but if you're shooting comp it's natural to chase groups - albeit perhaps a psychological factor more than anything. Nothing more frustrating than knowing the dude next to you is shooting an inherently more accurate setup.
At what point does lack of maintenance become patina?

I'll shoot it with stock and see how we go. If I don't like them, I'll get Skinner. I am not a big fan of these sights, I swapped them out on all other rifles, but I'll give them a go again, to be sure.
