What Mechanical Thrower for Pistol Charges do you use?

I use a Lee perfect powder measure for my 223. Just keep it at least 50% full and throws pretty consistantly. (AR2208)

I have been using the RCBS uni flows since the mid 90s just need to learn a proper Technique .
If you go this way just make sure you have the drum with the small hole

Lee Pro Auto Disc in a progressive press for 38S&W and above, Lee Perfect for manual loading 32 Colt and smaller as I don't shoot a lot of 32, 30 or 25cal.

Lee perfect. Its cheap. Im pretty sure Its up there as oneof the most consistent in reviews and tests

On your LEE PERFECT POWDER MEASURES how tight do you have the screw on the right hand side?

Also have you ever tried lubricating them with graphite?

For .32 S&W Long mine are throwing 1.4 1.5 and 1.6 grains of W231, I can't get the throws very consistent.

Nothing wrong with numbers like that even a harrel is not going to be any better than point one of a grain above or below what you are looking for .

I'm A grade in ISSF Centrefire and on a good day shoot around 575.

1.5gns of W231 is what I need for each case (all my cases are batch weighed and sorted).

I've been reading reviews of the Redding 10x Pistol measure and its $$$ but lots of folks reckon its no better than using a Lee PPM.

I'll just have to keep weighing each individual charge and discarding over and under throws.

Yep that would work with ball powder
Although would slow the process down considerably.
And wont-work with a progressive press only if you are single stage loading .

1.5gn charges I would throw by hand anyway, I only use a powder thrower for bulk milsurp ammo, and rarely even then do I bother.
