As far as I am aware, primers installed correctly, are subject to a certain amount of "crush" of the anvil into the guts of the primer. This is a one time deal, so re-using them is best avoided I think.

Gently deprime, in this case using a punch and plastic hammer. Then use in another case.
I've done exactly that.
These days I would use my Lee depriming die. But if I had nothing else just tap them out.
