Hi all i hope everyone is well, quick question being new to australia for about the third time, can i purchase rifle actions here, non barreld, if so what size and breed please, id like something to base 7mm or 338 win mag on. Maybe find something cheap full rifle on abused guns. Not sure?????

Yes you can, permit required as actions are the registerable part in all jurisdictions. Any size your State permits (up to 50BMG in Victoria). Ring around your local gundealers, talk to people at various hunting and target clubs etc. Buying a donor rifle from usedguns etc is another source. What make will usually determined by purpose ie: build a custom hunting rig, precision long range etc.
