Does anyone have dome loads for this projectile in 38 special ?

Being a plated bullet even though it is swaged you should aim for 800 odd fps so I would start with 3.8grains of AP70 and check for speed and if you are at around 750 odd go up .2 at a time until you ht 800.
I am assuming you have a six inch barrel
AP100 is to slow

Not keen on these pills myslef, but have tried them with Trail Boss ( bit erratic). Stuck with 148grn DEWC in lead for a better result.
As said before, AP100 is a bit slow for 38spl imo.

I would have said AP70 and AP100 are both a bit slow for 38SPL loads.
My preference for 148gn DEWC is one of the faster powders in smaller quantities (3gn), AS30 and setting the projectile deep (flush with the case mouth).

Me too but when I asked what he had they were the 2 he listed so 70 is better and he isn't using swaged hbwc so you can push them .
And ap70 is actually a good powder in a 38 I used it in the 90s for years in service match .
