My 1st reloading tool was a Lyman 310 "pliers" type, the successor to the Lyman Ideal that used screw in dies to size, prime seat etc. I loaded 30/30, 303 and 8x57. Powder was done with a Lee Dipper set, and the ammo was every bit as effective as factory and heaps cheaper. You didn't make Match ammo just hunting ammo, minute of deer heart/lung and I used it for several years until I bought a Ruger 308 which came with a Lee Load hand kit. Still have the Lyman wrapped in grease paper in the reloading cupboard but hasn't seen daylight in 40 years.
