My cousin has inherited his great grandmas snake gun an 1892 38-40. Anywhere cheap online to buy brass for old calibers?

Kesley,

Give rebel Gun Works in Brisbane a ring.

https://www.rebelgunworks.com.au/collec ... cf-100pk-1

$69 for a hundred new cases isnt too bad; I thought.

Cheers,

Rod.

Rebel also seem to ahve Hawkebury River cast lead projectiles for the .38-40.

[Apparently, the bore on the .38-40 is actually .401 calibre, and they are supposed to be a bit of a bitch to reload.]

Have fun!
