Was AR2214 rebranded as AR2217 or was it slightly slower than 2217? Very hard to find load data for 2214, Has anyone used 2214 in the past or know anywhere online that has any load data.

There's a bit of info' over on the F class forum.

2214 was significantly slower than 2213. AR2214 was reformulated into what is now Retumbo / AR2225, which is why 2214 was discontinued by ADI.

Thanks 49er, that sounds right. I have a few kilos to burn and that will put me in the ballpark

I've just had a look through some old ADI manuals - #3/2000 lists several loads for 243W, 240WbyMag, 25/06, 6.6Swede, 6.5/06, and 340WbyMag.
Burn Rate between 2213SC & 2218. Also says discontinued.
No load data in #4/2004.
That might help?

Thanks guys, I had never even heard of AR2211. My friend who sold me the powder said he used it in a 243 target rifle years ago. I was going to try it in a 30 cal Weatherby.
