275 grainer in Winchester 358?

Post by andym79 » 02 Feb 2014, 3:44 pm

Hi guys I have never pushed more than a 205 grain cast bullet through my BLR 358. looking through a couple of reloading manuals the largest bullet listed in the 358 Win is a 250 grainer. I have the opurtunity to buy a 275 grain CBE mold very reasonably.

Does anyone shoot slugs that large out of there 358 Win?

I don't know of anyone shooting heavier than 250gr in my experience.

As you've pointed out, load data could be an issue for you...

Are you looking to do something in particular with 275 pills or just s**ts and giggles?
