Gents would the data for loading copper plated lead projectiles be the same as for cast?

I would agree.
However, FWIW, I load 180gn Frontier plated with 8.0gn AP100 (handgun, 10" barrel) in accordance with the online ADI manual for jacketed 180gn projies. Rifles with their longer barrels of course may be a different matter

I note that some of the other handgun calibres, eg. 9mm, ADI indicate larger powder loads for Berry's Plated 124gn than lead 125gn (HRBC conicals).

Sounds like they need a bit more powder then.

I wouldn't say they'd be the same, but they'd be closer than jacketed bullet data.

I shot a lot of lead in a time passed - mainly because of budget. My financial situation has improved since then, so I splurged on some Berry’s - they are significantly more accurate than lead, same accuracy as jacketed basically. They just can’t be driven quite as hard as jacketed is all - which then faces you with the whole case-filler conundrum.
