Storing powder and primers? (VIC)

Hi All,

I'm new to reloading so forgive the stupid question... Where do I need to store powder and primers (as opposed to live ammo) to keep everything legal?

I have a locked metal chest, will that do the job? Have read some mixed info regarding the rules from state to state, what's the story in VIC?

Store it as you would ammo and you'll be right... a secure container separate from your firearms.

Yep, lockable metal container stored separately - just like live ammo - should be fine.
