303 British case flaring for use with cast bullets

Post by vmaxaust » 06 Jul 2019, 6:55 am

About to try my own cast bullets in 303 cases. The bullets are 174gr and triple Hi-Tech coated. Looking through various die maker sites I found the Lyman neck expanding M dies for 7.65x53mm Argentine Mauser...

Can anyone suggest from experience which case flaring dies they use for cast bullets on the 303? This Lyman die looks like it will do the job but would like opinions as to whether I'm correct or if there are better options in seating cast bullets without scraping coating and lead off during seating.

Yes, sizing to .312" or .3125" after doing coating. I have automated sizing machine. I will use Lyman die or Lee as you suggest. Thanks.
