30-06 and 150gr pills

Just wondering who here is having luck with using 2208 in the 30-06 with 150gr pills? Case density seems on the low side but I've read some people have luck with it. I've previously used 09' but have run out and have a fair bit of 2208 available.

Waste of time or worth a go?

Worth a crack. I use AR2208 for 223, 30-06 with 130gr win m70 & xl marlin 30-06 180gr

How much 2208 can you stuff into the case? While 50 odd grains isn't filling the case to the bottom of the pill it should shoot OK.

I had 4kg of 2208 and use it in .222 .243 and 7mm Rem Mag

I prefer the 2209 but it can be a good powder for the 30-06 and 150gr bullets
off the top of my head I think I used a bit more than adi max for 3000fps

I was using a lot of .222 when I bought the 4 kg of 2208 and there was no load for 2209 in .222 and the 100 gn Gameking in 7mm likes 56gn of 2208 for 3300fps
