Had a meditation session today. These are for my .40-65 Sharps. NEI mold. They drop at .414 and not sized for my rifle. Made 110 bullets.
The bulk of them average 422.5 grains with less than .5 grain variation. There were just 3 that were a whole 1 grain lighter and 3 were 1 grain heavier.
They’re ladle poured. This mold has made thousands of bullets and almost never makes a bad bullet.
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

The process we shall term meditation. A photo of the finished product we shall term art ..... the fumes you inhaled we shall term carcinogenic, And the game you pursue will call them hell

Bloody good show mate. They look spot on. I only make sinkers, not projectiles so no where near the precision required for me. It’s a thing of rare beauty mate, seeing those cast projectiles all lined up like that. I’d say a bit of both meditation and art. :drinks:

Well there's no time like the present. Try it. You'll like it a lot and remember, you can quit any time you want - honest!

Yep I can see where you are going with that Oldbloke. Casting ones own projectiles sure does sound a little addictive to me. Not sure I need another hunting / fishing related addiction.

It’s not really an addiction until you’re deliberately buying rifles you have to cast for.
