Primers are the new lego blocks

Post by Grrzrr » 23 Feb 2014, 4:26 pm

So a few weeks ago I was emptying the spent primers out of my press... Caught the tray, pulled, it let go, flung primers eeeeeeverywhere :(

Clean up and best I could but you know how the little suckers roll...

For weeks now I'm still treading on them when I get up and night for a water or whatever.

One goes into your heel... Right up there with treading on lego blocks in the dark

Having had three kids that grew up with a shirt load of Lego I can feel your pain...literally! Never happened in my day with Meccano!

The guy who invented lego is some evil genius who's sitting in his lair laughing at the pain he unleashed on the world

Be careful, Lego is famous for locking up every possible patent for blocks so their competitors couldn't steal their design. If they find out primers also cause foot pain out of proportion to their size you could get a knock on the door from a couple of thin Dutchmen in blue suits. LOL

Nah, in the spare room.

But I'm right next to the door to the hallway and spilt half of them straight out the door.

Managed to get a few rollers into about every room in the house

Youve never stood on a piece of Mecanno with the screws sticking up?

Or step on some pointy wire connected to a battery for some motorised Mecanno gizmo you cooked up.

Sharp and burny

No! I treasured my Meccano! It's the cause of my "Making stuff" habit that I cant shake. Still have every part too!

I used to make all manner of terrible semi-working machinery with my Mecanno.

A lot of it was like the first car ever made, except 100x worse
