Bluedelaine,

From ADI- all AR2209 loads for 6.5 Creedmoor.

I used 140grain ELDM Hornady's in mine, and loaded from 37-40.9 grains of AR2209 with no pressure signs.

I found a sweet spot 22 thou off the lands with 40.1 grains of 2209. It shoots less than 1/4 MOA with that.

I use Redding 6.5 Creedmoor dies mate with my Lapua SRP brass and Have no problems. Although I didn’t have to with mine, the Redding dies do allow for decapping pins to be changed. Is this an option with your dies. I suspect you won’t want to purchase a set of Redding dies to fix the issue.

I use a separate hand held decapping tool before I size my brass, I bought it from BRT. You could grind down your existing pin in your dies until it fits.

Good Morning,

Can anyone assist where I can get a Universal Primer Decapper for my 6.5 Cm for Lapua Brass. Lee, RCBS Lyman and Hornady small pins are too big. Redding makes one but there are none available.

Carefully - dremel or sander - make your existing pin smaller?
Are you sure it’s not hitting side of base - have you tried to push decap pin by itself ?

Have you got a drill?

Put your pin in a drill & while in a vice & spinning, try some wetNdry paper to narrow the diameter--go easy though, do it in stages.
