Hi guys
I'm slowly setting up to reload at least .44 but maybe also 9mm.
I picked up an early model Lee Pro 1000. I had it posted so was unable to inspect and a few bits are missing from the kit.
Instead of the usual automatic powder feeder with the disks pictured on the left here:
https://leeprecision.com/powder-handlin ... -measures/
It has a Perfect Powder Measure as pictured here:
https://leeprecision.com/stand-mounted-powder-measures/
This appears to be attached via a discontinued product:
Lee Universal Charging Die 90273
here is the manual: - https://leeprecision.com/files/instruct/AO2737.pdf
Unfortunately it is missing the "Short Pistol Case Mouth Adapter"
If I'm reading correctly, this powder measure can be used for pistol cartridges but it is mainly suited to rifles. It also indicates the dies that attach it do not expand the case mouth whereas this is done with the sizing die for rifle cartridges.
Although Lee discontinued the Lee Universal Charging Die 90273 kit, I don't think a replacement product has been released?
Is this suitable on a progressive press for pistol cartridges? does anyone have experience with such a set up?
Cheers
