Lapua HPS 7.62 x 51

Out of curiosity pulled the bullet from one of these.
Primer unknown but staked at three points around the pocket.
Bullet was 170gn Lockbase
Powder I weighed at 44.4gn, unknown extruded powder.
COAL55.7mm on my Hornady comparator
Interesting that there appeared to be very little neck tension, two solid hits with an inertial puller had it apart.
The bullet showed prominent all round friction mark immediately above the boat tail, almost like the case had an existing "doughnut" at the neck / shoulder.

Sometimes when making a bullet you get a pressure ring at the outer base edge and just above it when high pressure is used to swage the bullet , Could be that .
