For the brains trust:

Reloading 9mm for practice right now and IPSC later - would you use APS350 or 450 and why?

There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between them but the slightly different burn rates do change the muzzle velocity and peak pressure for different projectile weights, it will ultimately come down the the result that you are looking for but for most people it probably won't matter which is used.

Powders for 9mm used to be AP50 or AP70.
AP50 loads were about half a grain less than AP70.

AP50 was favoured by those using lighter projectiles around 125gn for a snappier recoil impulse but quicker recoil recovery, AP70 was favoured by those using heavier projectiles for a slower recoil impulse and recovery. Go for the 450 in the new powder.
