Someone stole my wet tumbler media

Post by Kipper » 28 Mar 2014, 7:52 am

So after you blokes were talking about washing tumbler media the other week I decided to give it a go.

Media in a stocking, gave it the treatment in the sink, tonnes of crap came out of it so job well done :)

To dry it I hung it on the railing of the front porch to get some sun. Came out a few hours later...

Someone had stolen it

I've gotta laugh, but some people... Who would steal a stocking with half a kg of soggy tumbler media in it?

*sigh*

Hung the second batch out the back instead ;)

Gold! Not sure what they thought it was.

Maybe they will bring it back when it needs washing again. Lol

"brown-brown" is a real thing?

I figured they just made that up for Lord of War movie.

It's likely an urban myth according to Wikipedia.

Apparently the idea was that "gun powder" contained nitroglycerine which opens your blood vessels so whatever you're putting into yourself gets around better/faster.

Except that the smokeless powder doesn't have any NG in it...
