Poor mans puller

I'm not inclined to purchase a $50 kinetic puller to pull 30 or so bullets I need to pull a month.

I could maybe purchase a $30 hornady bullet puller die to fit my Lee press (provided if it fits) or looking at another way without damaging the projectile.

Any proven red neck ways to do this ?

DIY grip and pull. worked for me.
piece of 5mm plate. drill suitably sized hole, cut slot lengthways leaving just enough joined at one end to flex enough to allow you to use it like a grip and pull

I would go chuck key or wire crimping tool. TBH never tried them. I Have a RCBS puller. But since big Pete says crimper go for that.

Sounds like it's pretty easy to knock one up to use in your press, unless you already own a pipe flaring tool, crimper or similar. My only concern with the flaring tool is the ridges on there designed to hold the pipe may mark the projectile.

Interestingly, I used flaring tool recently as a crimper for large cable when installing a winch. Combination of vice and hammer. More than one way to skin a cat as Old Bloke likes to say.

Another option is the poor man's crimper that I've made in the past, get some cheap pliers, side cutters or similar (appropriate for what you're doing) and use a drill bit or burr to make the holes on each side of the jaw by closing it into the drill bit while that is spinning

Get a self tapping metal roofers bolt.
Put a thick steel washer over it, then put it through a socket that will hold the case but not go over the die.
Clamp the stuck case and die, and then use a power drill to tap put the self tapping bolt and washer in to the stuck case.
Keep drilling until it pulls out.

This is for pulling bullets, not cases stuck in dies.

Use your shell holder in place of the collet that comes with the kinetic hammer. Much better results and much easier to use. I havent broken a hammer like many have reported and have pulled heaps of bullets this way.
