Used 296 in my Hornet for more than 20 years. Works well. Lil gun is better.

Lucky bugger ! They stopped bringing 296 and lil gun in over here a few years ago. I’ve tried 2205 and 2400 in hornet, and it’s nowhere as good as lil gun for speed AND accuracy. I’d stick with lil gun if you can get it

I gave some W296 a go in my 20 Hornet, pressure got a bit erratic at top loads, recently started using Power Pro 300 MP and its got more speed than both Lil gun and 296. Got 4lbs so I should be set for a very long time. Not sure if you can get over your way.
