Availability of AR2208 in Australia (Varget in the US?)

Hi there,
I live in the USA. For quite some time Hodgon Varget has been absolutely unobtainable. I think that the miracle ingredient in the powder is actually unobtainium. Anyway I understand that AR2208 is just rebranded as Varget in the US.

My question is: Has there been any shortages of AR2208 in Australia. Also what is the average cost per pound? “

As with everything firearm related, whether it be product from Europe to Aus, Europe to US, Aus to US, etc., etc., I think that supply chain issues brought about by an alleged viral pandemic are creating massive problems for everybody, everywhere.

From their last update, there is nothing to suggest that production is a problem, as it has been for some of their powders.

Sleepy Joe and the blatherings of his lefty followers are certainly ensuring that everything that the US can produce is swooped on by your own good folk who know when it's time to stock up. Doesn't leave anything for the rest of us.

LGS had some 3 or 4 weeks ago. Price had gone up a bit though.

The common ADI rifle powders are still in production here. Whether any is getting sent to the US, or how long it might take I don't know.

We don't have pound bottles, we have 500gm, 1kg, 1.5kg, 2kg and 4kg - I think only 1kg and 4kg are being offered currently.
Price is generally around A$140 per kilo for the smaller bottles.

I was at shooters delight in Brisbane this morning, bought some 2206h. I think they are expecting a shipment of various powder tomorrow

Plenty of AR2208 available. $385AUS for 4kg.

2208 is available in Adelaide for $130 / kg and $440 / 4kg

Still plenty of AR2208 about in the local shops here. If you want to travel to the city AR2208 is available for $109/kg or $369/4kg. Pretty good value me thinks. Of course it is significantly more expensive in the regional centre where I live.
